Hi there, I’m Lindsay! Welcome to my professional portfolio. If you don’t know me yet, I am a communications and social media specialist. My interest in the public relations field began in high school when I joined the debate club. The experience taught me the power of words and how a simple message can change hearts and minds for the better. After graduating with my bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, I decided to make Gainesville a permanent home by starting my career here. In addition to being a full-time staff member, I earned my master’s degree in mass communications with a specialization in social media. I'm a proud double Gator! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and my senior pup Velma, watching hidden gems on Netflix, dancing at Zumba classes, and exploring local restaurants.
