United Nations’ Day of the Girl

As a contributing writer for Girl Museum, an online organization that profiles girls and tackles young women’s issues, I attended the United Nations’ Day of the Girl event in October 2014, at the UN Headquarters in New York City and wrote my article "Girl Poet: My Visit to ‘Girls Speak Out'" for Girl Museum’s blog.
